Bouancy Properties

Getting the right levels of buoyancy in your bait mix can be the difference between success and failure. We stock both Sodium and Calcium Caseinate that can be used in a wide variety of HNV baits. Both products have a minimum protein content of 96% and 5% less dense than caseins making it possible to give your bait a neutral buoyancy.

Both have a very good amino acid profile but the Calcium Caseinate is not as sticky as Sodium making it a useful replacement to lactic/rennet caseins. Inclusion levels must be carefully considered though, as Calcium Caseinate is not only soluble but also very light.
